Honeycomb

Honeycomb is commonly used structured in sandwich material. The major advantage is the saving in weight and very strong mechanical properties of the finished part.

Several raw materials can be used to produce honeycomb:

• Polypropylene
• Aluminum
• Glass fibre
• Nomex

Honeycomb structure can be post treated as follows:

• Perforated
• With a finishing layer (glass or aluminum)
