Complex structures for infusion processes

Complex structures are made out of two layers of chopped strands which are stitched to a flow mesh. This creates a unique structure widely used in infusion process (e.g. RTM and RTM Light). These products can be produced in a few different weights and thicknesses to fill the designed cavity. The flow mesh can either be:

• Spun bound polypropylene / polyester
• Knitted polypropylene: improved flow ability (important to use in combination with heavily filled resin).
• Knitted glass: making of this structure a 100% glass structure offering outstanding mechanical properties and fire performances
